Great Neck, NY (May 10, 2012) On Saturday, June 16th, 2012 from 7:00 PM-11:00PM please join Beatles Fans of all ages from across Long Island at the Great Neck Arts Center, located at 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, NY 516.829.2570 (main entrance is on Maple Drive) for a special event celebrating Paul McCartney’s 70th Birthday featuring The Beatles Tribute Band MerseyBeat, a lecture and presentation from Mitchell Axelrod of the FabFree4All Radio Show and a The Beatles centric record & memorabilia collectors show. Admission to this event costs $15 for general seating at 8:00pm, the record collectors show will open at 7pm. There will also be refreshments available for purchase.

The sound of those vintage guitars and amps, and the legendary Beatle vocal harmonies are all there. This New York based band faithfully recreates the very best of the Beatles in the British invasion era.

The Fab4Free4All crew – Mitch Axelrod, Rob Leonard and Tony Traguardo – focuses on topics that span the Beatles’ group and solo careers. Think of any song or album, any aspect of the Beatles as a group, solo artists, musicians, songwriters, or any part of their history … and it’s probably already been covered by the guys, or is bound to be featured in a show some time down the road.

In honor of the momentous occasion of the 70th anniversary of Sir Paul’s birth, radio hosts, the Fab 4 Free 4 All will present you with the clues of Paul’s alleged demise which started with a rumor back in 1969. May 7, 2012 New York, N.Y. – KlingerVision, Inc. announced today that it has signed Alan Gampel in order to posture the growth of his performance career in the United States. After several years abroad and limited engagements enjoying the formative years of his children, Mr. Gampel will return to the stage in the United States in several key cities to be announced shortly. KlingerVision, Inc. will be responsible for all of Mr. Gampels public relations, appearances, and engagements.

After the birth of Alans first child, he was inspired to search for innovative ways to introduce music and the arts to young people. In 2000, Alan created The Joy2Learn Foundation to improve public education by creating and providing high-quality arts content to schools free of charge, via a series of Internet based presentations, using live video and other multimedia elements in an engaging interactive format. KlingerVision, Inc. will assist with programs with Mr. Gampel for development of the Joy2Learn Foundation.

In a move that demonstrates his passion for music; Mr. Gampels interest and discoveries relating to the origins of western musical notation during the first millennium led him to complete a graduate degree in musicology at the Sorbonne in 2010. He is expanding this compelling research on the presence of musical signs in Greek, Hebrew, Syriac and Coptic sources from the early medieval period. About Alan Gampel Alan Gampel is an American virtuoso classical pianist. He was honored with The Special Award in the Arts from UNICEF at age 8 and with the Presidential Scholars Award, presented by President Ronald Reagan at the White House, at age 16. He went on to graduate from Stanford University at age 19 and then completed a graduate degree at the University of Southern California and at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris. In 1995, Alan Gampel received the coveted Chopin Prize at the Artur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Israel. Other awards include a top prize at the Naumburg International Piano Competition in New York and the Mozart Bicentenary Prize at the Dublin International Piano Competition in Ireland.

This is a crucial time for the Rhino, with many species facing extinction having been on the Endangered Species list for over 10 years. So when Ringo considered changing the image on his homepage – formerly his cat – he wanted it to be a Rhino.

“I’ve always loved Rhino’s. They were close to my and Keith Moons heart. In fact in I had two huge one’s made and gave one to Keith. Mine is still here out on the grass here in England.”

A handful of wonderful organizations are working towards Rhino preservation including The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Established in 1977, by Dr Dame Daphne Sheldrick in Kenya, they have hands-on practical experience and extensive knowledge of the black rhino which is unmatched. They have pioneered a hand –rearing approach for the rehabilitation of rescued orphaned Rhinos and their approach to protect and preserve the Black Rhino from extinction, as well as the increasingly threatened Elephant, has been emulated elsewhere in Africa.

Tess Dunn is a 17-year old singer-songwriter phenom who hails from Santa Cruz, California. Tess’ raspy vocals, mature piano compositions and alternative sound transcend her years. She started playing the piano at age 5, began writing songs at age 11 and first took to the stage at age 12. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF), an incurable life-threatening disease which causes progressive lung damage, as well as epilepsy and diabetes, Tess faces issues of mortality that infuse her music and lyrics with radiant richness and haunting depth.

Tess has performed throughout California, including at the Vans Warped Tour at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View in 2011 and 2010, and at the San Francisco Warped Tour in 2009. She has had successful solo shows in Santa Cruz County, and has opened for artists including Karla Bonoff, Nina Storey, Ari Shine, Adrienne Pierce, and Iris DeMent.

Tess says living with CF is “almost like having a clock ticking over your head, but it has a way of putting things in perspective. She “finds a certain beauty in the randomness of life,” and her music explores issues of love, trust and relationships. An affecting advocate for anyone battling the challenges of chronic disease, Tess encourages others due to her take no prisoners zest for life.

Los Angeles, CA – March 8, 2012 – Red Red Records has announced a new worldwide licensing agreement with Sing It Now, for up and coming Los Angeles pop singer/songwriter Katrina and her new single “So Eden,” from her debut full-length album “In The Blink Of An Eye.” Under the terms of the agreement, Red Red Records will now make the track available across the globe through a Karaoke Synchronization License. Katrina’s latest music video for the single “So Eden” recently premiered on ArtistDirect.com, was featured as the “Video Of The Day” on AOL Music, and can now be viewed on YouTube.

Katrina is currently on a U.S. tour behind her debut album and new single. Gaining airplay, “So Eden” is approaching the Top 40 at Hot AC radio, debuting as the #1 Most Added at Hot AC it’s first week out. Local 15-Year-Old To Surprise 52-Year-Old Single Mother with the Gift of Hearing at 3rd Annual Hearing Mission

What: With the help of a star-studded line up of football and entertainment legends, Starkey Hearing Foundation, which strives to change the social consciousness of hearing and hearing health care, will deliver the gift of hearing in Indianapolis during its 3rd Annual Super Bowl Week Hearing Mission.

At the event, a 15-year-old girl from Indianapolis will surprise her legally-deaf, single mom with the gift of hearing. The mom, who has six children, does not know she will receive a new digital hearing device. Starkey Hearing Foundation’s team of audiologists will fit the single mom, along with 235 under-served, hearing-impaired children and adults from the Indianapolis area with a new, custom-made hearing device.
