OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network presents all new episodes of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” this summer beginning Sunday, May 20 (9-10 p.m. ET/PT) when Winfrey travels to Nashville, Tennessee for an intimate in-depth interview with country music superstar Carrie Underwood and her husband NHL player Mike Fisher for their first ever television interview together.

Also announced today, Winfrey will sit down with Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker to discuss his political future on June 10 (9-10 p.m. ET/PT). As previously announced, June 3 (9-10 p.m. ET/PT) will feature actor Neil Patrick Harris and his family as they open their Los Angeles home to cameras for the first time.

Oprah Winfrey travels to Nashville, Tennessee where she speaks with music superstar Carrie Underwood who is joined by her NHL husband Mike Fisher, marking the first time cameras have ever been invited inside their cabin retreat for an intimate, in-depth interview. Underwood reflects on her rise to stardom as she looks back on her journey. For theirfirst television interview together, Underwood and Fisher talk about how they balance their successful and fast-paced careers with their two year marriage. The couple also takes Winfrey to their new plot of land where they plan to build their dream home.

Underwood’s new CD Blown Away recently debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country and All-Genre sales charts. The Top Country Albums chart debut made her only the second country artist in the 47-year history of the chart to have their first four albums debut at No. 1. With more than 267,000 albums sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, Blown Away debuts at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200chart making Underwood only the second country artist in history to have three consecutive albums debut at No. 1.

Since releasing Some Hearts in 2005, Underwood has sold more than 14 million albums with Some Hearts, 2007’s Carnival Ride, and 2009’s Play On making her the best selling American Idol in the US. She’s amassed 14 No. 1 singles, six of which she co-wrote, and became the first country artist in history and the only American Idol winner ever to achieve 10 No. 1 singles from their first two albums. Underwood currently leads the nominations for the upcoming CMT Music Awards with five. She is a five-time Grammy winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

NEW YORK – May 3, 2011 – NBC”s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (Monday-Friday, 12:35 a.m. ET) will host a weeklong tribute to Bob Marley beginning May 9 to honor the 30th anniversary of his last concert and death. Jimmy welcomes musicians Ziggy Marley, Chris Cornell, Jennifer Hudson, Jakob Dylan and Lenny Kravitz to celebrate the legendary reggae artist’s musical legacy. Each night, the “Late Night” musical guest performs a classic Marley song. The weeklong event is sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.

“Big up Jimmy Fallon for honoring the memory of my father,” said Ziggy Marley. “Much respect.” In his first appearance on “Late Night,” Marley kicks off this special event on Monday, May 9 when he sits down with Jimmy to chat about his dad and sticks around after to perform.

On Tuesday, May 10 the commemoration continues with a performance by Chris Cornell; Wednesday, May 11 Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to sing; followed by Jakob Dylan on Thursday, May 12 and Lenny Kravitz to close out the week on Friday, May 13. Bob Marley’s last concert was at The Stanley Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA on September 23, 1980 and featured many of his biggest hits. Universal Music Enterprise recently released a CD of the live concert in a 2-CD collection, which includes “Get Up Stand Up,” the last song Marley ever performed live in concert.

In 1971, at the age of 17, Lennox left her native Scotland to attend the Royal Academy of Music in London. She formed The Tourists and later Eurythmics with Dave Stuart. Mumbai, January 7, 2010: DLF IPL returns to home ground this season. With the second edition of the DLF Indian Premier League having moved to South Africa, millions of fans across India were deprived of the “touch and feel” of the DLF IPL, that too so soon after the stupendous success of Season One. But this year, the nation has reason to rejoice, as the tournament returns to India to a thundering reception. MAX, the exclusive broadcaster of the DLF IPL, will once again capture the phenomenon and bring to your homes the world’s biggest cricket extravaganza!

The 2010 edition of the DLF IPL broadcast just got even bigger and even more thrilling. MAX’s campaign for the DLF IPL 2010 is centred around “The Homecoming” of the IPL and the campaign kicks off with an exclusive series of short films shot with the 8 team captains of the IPL highlighting the theme “We missed you too.” The DLF IPL teams missing playing in India is the essence of these films. Through these films, the team captains express their disappointment at not having had the opportunity to play in front of their home crowd last season and their happiness at the fact that they will be playing in India again. These films are slated to be on-air from 7th January, 2010.

The films have been shot by Storytellers and directed by Arun Gopalan. Given that the entire country is excited about this tournament coming back to India, these films will be aired pan India. In addition to the films being aired on SET network channels, it will also be aired on news channels, music channels, kids channels and regional channels.

There is far more to watch out for as MAX will culminate these short films into a grand finale film which will be unveiled in the later part of the campaign to welcome DLF IPL back in India. Keep watching!

(Nashville, TN) – It’s been at least two decades since country music’s harmonic sibling trio Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers have appeared on the late night television front. With the GRAMMY Award winning brothers reunited after a 17-year absence from the entertainment scene, late night talk show guru Jimmy Kimmel welcomes the boys to his set this Wednesday night, January 13, 2010, for a performance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The Gatlin Brothers made their triumphant return to the country music scene in 2009 with the release of Pilgrimage (CURB Records). Pilgrimage is the critically acclaimed “storyteller’s album” that gives listeners an inside look at country music’s yesteryears with heartfelt songs and stories from one of the late Johnny Cash’s very close friends, Larry Gatlin.

Larry, Steve and Rudy will take the Kimmel set with a rip-roaring rendition of their new single, “Johnny Cash Is Dead And His House Burned Down” and will close out the show with their patriotic “Americans, That’s Who.”

Larry Gatlin, a big fan of Kimmel and his show, is ecstatic about the Wednesday night appearance. “Jimmy Kimmel looks at the world sideways… me too!” notes Gatlin. “We could be dangerous together… and I hear he plays a mean bass clarinet.”

During the 1970s and 1980s, Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers became one of country music’s most popular acts, introducing a new ‘countrypolitan’ sound to the genre. Larry Gatlin has a total of 33 Top 40 singles under his belt, including both his solo recordings and those with his brothers. The band’s biggest hits include, “Broken Lady,” “All the Gold In California,” “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You),” “She Used to Be Somebody’s Baby,” and “Talkin’ to the Moon.”

9 September 2009. BBC World News, with BBC.com, today announces a renewal of its successful advertising partnership with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, with the commissioning of a third series of the popular travel programme The Real…

The ad-funded, weekly, five-part series begins on Saturday 19 September on BBC World News. The series will encompass five new episodes of programme, visiting the exciting cities of Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Beirut, Rome and Washington DC. With the help of knowledgeable, well known local personalities, the series reveals to viewers the key spots to visit, often missed in guidebooks. In addition, it is the first time that the programmes will be distributed on BBC America.

The programmes will also be supported with dedicated pages on BBC.com, the BBC’s international website, that feature video clips and information on each of the cities from the new and previous series. The Real… branded widget will feature on the BBC.com homepage, for the duration of the show’s transmission, taking audiences directly to the online content.
