Mumbai, May 28: RED FM is under the familiar spotlight yet again! Continuing its winning streak this year, Red FM, the station for expression swept the Indian Excellence in Radio Awards 2009 bagging 11 awards in prestigious categories, with the feather in the cap being the award for the ‘Best FM station’ after last year’s ‘Best FM Brand’ award. The Excellence in Radio Awards held on May 27, 2009 felicitated the best and most deserving in the radio industry.

10. Most Effective Use of Radio in an Activation Campaign – Red FM’s Activation For IPL’s Mumbai Indians
11. Best Breakfast Programme/Show (Tamil) – Suryan FM, Chennai – Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi
