Big Kenny Country Singer-Songwriter to Perform on StageIt

SAN FRANCISCO -April 25, 2011 – StageIt today announced that country artist Big Kenny, from much-beloved country duo Big & Rich, will be performing live on Wednesday, April 27, at 6 pm PST/9 pm EST exclusively on the web-based platform. Big Kenny will perform songs off his two solo albums, including Long After I’m Gone, for 15 minutes live from his studio in Nashville.

Launched in fall 2010 by CEO and industry veteran Evan Lowenstein, StageIt empowers artists to stream and monetize interactive live experiences directly from their laptop while offering fans a front row seat to a backstage experience.

Big Kenny, who founded the duo Big & Rich in early 2000s with former Lonestar bass guitarist and co-lead vocalist, John Rich, already performed on StageIt with country star Jaron and the Long Road to Love, with whom he recently co-wrote the hauntingly beautiful duet Beautiful Lies.

Los Angeles, CA, September 15, 2009 – Singer/songwriter Rusty Anderson, the lead guitarist for the Paul McCartney Band, has made beautiful music with an extensive list of top name and Grammy Award-winning artists from Elton John and Dido to Neil Diamond and Gwen Stefani. Beginning this fall, music lovers everywhere will get a window into what has long made this standout talent the preferred choice of these and many other leading names in music. Mr. Anderson’s songs are reminiscent of his diverse musical influences, which include Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, David Bowie, U2, The While Stripes, and The Mothers of Invention, yet also compellingly unique. Each track highlights his outstanding guitar skills, from the captivating ballad, “Where Would We Go?” dedicated to his wife; to his eccentrically-entertaining song “Funky Birthday Cake,” written when he was just a teenager.

Mr. Anderson began playing guitar when he was 8-years-old and started his first band in his teens. Since then, he has been part of several different groups, including, in the early ‘90s, Animal Logic, which also featured former drummer of The Police, Stewart Copeland; and legendary fusion bassist, Stanley Clarke. He later joined Ednaswap in 1993 and played on the band’s four major label releases. Mr. Anderson is also known for his involvement in various musical projects from a cross-section of widely celebrated artists.

His most notable gig came in 2001 when he was invited to play and sing on Paul McCartney’s Driving Rain, which led to the birth of the Paul McCartney Band with which Mr. Anderson has since played hundreds of shows all over the world. He was featured on the band’s subsequent albums, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard (2005) and Memory Almost Full (2007), as well as four DVD releases.

Born on Earth is Mr. Anderson’s follow up album to Undressing Underwater, which was released in 2003.

Singer/Songwriter Rob Thomas teamed up with Bloomingdale’s and rock n roll lifestyle brand Lyric Culture on a limited edition apparel collection that debuted June 30th in New York.

The line launched at Bloomingdale’s in conjunction with Thomas’s second solo album titled “cradlesong” and features designs inspired by previous Thomas smash hits including “Streetcorner Symphony” and “Smooth”. Thomas autographed the apparel with a portion of the proceeds benefiting his and wife Marisol’s Sidewalk Angels Foundation. Bloomingdale’s offered a special gift with purchase tank top inspired by the single “Her Diamonds” off Thomas’ album.

This collaboration featuring fashion tees, tops and scarves for both men and women, marks the first time that Lyric Culture is partnering with a contemporary artist on a collection.
